A project completed by myself and my father in Llanerchymedd. The brief was to replace an existing delapidated tin shed (cludgy) with the possibility of creating a raised sun deck as the small yard it sat in lost the sun early due to nearby buildings.

I designed and built a aircrete shed clad in local green larch, and found a company who could supply a decking material that was both lightweight and strong. Dura Composites proved an excellent choice, their wonderful customer service coupled with a material that not only suited the application but also, due to the construction of the material allowed for an even bigger upper deck whilst allowing light to pass through the small holes.

The access required a ladder, which neatly folds back flat to the wall to minimise intrusion into the small yard.
